EMT ToothSaver is a product that is used to store a knocked-out tooth and protect it from cell damage and dehydration until dental care is available.
The length of time before a knocked-out tooth is replanted as well as how it is transported to the dentist are crucial in successfully saving and replanting the tooth. By suspending the tooth in the EMT ToothSaver vial within 30 minutes of being knocked out, a tooth can be safely stored up to 24 hours until replantation. EMT ToothSaver’s proprietary formulation was specifically designed to keep the PDL (periodontal ligament) cells alive on the tooth.
