The North Defender Multi-Purpose (multi-contaminant) gas and vapor cartridge is NIOSH approved for gases and vapors. For use with the North RU6500 Silicone Full Facepiece (HM5411).
- Respirator cartridges protect against the following gases and vapors:
- Organic Vapor
- Ammonia
- Methylamine
- Formaldehyde
- Acid Gas (Chlorine, Hydrogen Chloride, Sulfur Dioxide, Hydrogen Sulfide, Hydrogen Fluoride, Chlorine Dioxide)
- NIOSH ID label color: olive
- Slimmer, deep threaded N-Series cartridges reduce accidental disconnections, snagging and view obstruction
- N-Series respirator cartridges and filters have an indefinite shelf life if stored properly in original packaging
