11-LANCE STERL CARB BLADE ref L203 100/box
The size 11 blade is an elongated triangular blade. It has a strong pointed tip making it ideal for stab incisions needed when lancing an abscess or inserting a chest drain. Surgical blades size 11 are also used for making other small incisions. Examples include when inserting a laparoscopic port, vein and artery central lines ,opening the aorta and removing calcification in the aortic or mitral valves, anatomical dissections and surgical treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle and lower extremities in Podiatry.
